Cancellations & Refunds
The Client accepts that the Photographer cannot control the weather and therefore cannot be held liable for a required date change for any outdoor session; the Photographer will not expect a new deposit to be made in this case, though long-term adverse weather may result in a refund, or a studio session for a reduced full price at the discretion of the Photographer. If a Client opts to proceed with the scheduled session against the advice of the Photographer, and weather limits session time and/or the number of captured images, the Photographer reserves the right to keep the full session price and to provide a final image-selection fewer than dictated by the session type.
Notice of cancellation by the Client must be received by the Photographer 48 hours before the session’s scheduled date, in order for the session to be rescheduled or refunded as per the choice of the Client. Should the Client cancel the day (24 hours) of the session’s scheduled time, it is at the Photographer’s discretion to determine the genuineness of the Client’s explanation and issue a reschedule or refund. Should the Client fail to notify the Photographer of their wish to cancel or fail to attend the session, the Photographer reserves the right to keep the deposit fee. The Photographer reserves the right to reschedule due to illness, equipment malfunction, or other circumstances beyond their control.
