What to expect
To help you understand the process, this guide will explain what happens once you have scheduled a session. If you have any questions, please ask them via the contact page.
To have the best session possible, you will be invited to the studio for a relaxed consultation. This gives us the opportunity to meet and go over the details of what exactly you're hoping to get out of the session. Though you will be asked to pay a 30% deposit before the end, this consultation is at no extra charge to you, and you will be free to cancel your session at this time without losing the deposit. You will receive a session guide, style guide, contract and a model release.
Sessions including children and pets have an extra 30 minutes to let them burn some energy and get used to the camera. The contract and model release must be signed before the session can commence. It will be indicated when the session time begins and when it ends. You will be directed how to pose or interact, and the photographs will be taken. Some sessions may allow for an outfit change.
After the images from the session have been retouched, you will be invited to the studio to view your proofs. Every image from your session will be printed as a 6x4" so you can hold and envision the final product. You can choose the maximum amount of images complimentary with your session, and any others you might wish to add. This is also a great time to discuss albums and frames. Once the 45 minutes allocated for in-person ordering is complete, you must pay the full owed amount remaining (or sign off on a payment plan); failing to do so means you will not receive your images and the session deposit will not be refunded.
Upon payment, your selected 6x4" prints go home with you, and the order is sent for those images you wish in different sizes or styles (matte or lustre) or multipe copies. You will be notified via your preferred method when your order is ready for you, and you may either have them posted to you (for a small extra fee) or you can collect them from the studio.
